Biography
Marianna was born in Hungary and studied composition and conducting at the Bela Bartok Conservatorium and Franz Liszt Academy of Music. In Australia she majored in piano performance and studied high school teaching at the University of Newcastle Conservatorium. Currently, Marianna works as a composer, piano teacher, conductor, classroom music teacher and Church musician.

Journey on Keys piano course
Journey on Keys suits beginners of most age levels and abilities all the way to Preliminary Grade.
The generous number and length of compositions are carefully sequenced to introduce piano students to the technical and notational elements they need to build a strong foundation. Most pieces come with an instruction or with a description indicating new key elements as seen under the title. The compositions are based on thematically structured and pianistic patterns making them logical and consequently more accessible to students.
The Theory Papers are specifically included to assist sight reading and notational skills. The course features a whole wide range of styles and genres through enjoyable compositions and arrangements.
- Level 1 is addressing the notational elements required for beginners, piano technique is progressing from the correct hand posture to basic hand co-ordinations.
- Level 2 is focusing on intervals from 2nd’s to 5th’s and chords whilst the co-ordination is further developed through the addition of expressive techniques.
- Level 3 pianists are changing hand positions more frequently as well as extend their hand posture to reach larger intervals or more complex chords. At this level compositions are more challenging both technically and through the wide range of expressive refinements.
